Toreskyrkja 1364m n.p.m. & Heddersfjell 1462m n.p.m.
Toreskyrkja and Heddersfjell are smaller Gaustatoppen’s neighbors. They are lying only few kilometers on east from that famous mountain and the trail to the firs one, Toreskyrkja begins begins close to Gaustablikk, holiday resort. This is also a ideal spot to take some photos on Gaustatoppen from the distance.

Trail to Toreskyrkja starts at the end of the Kvitåvatn lake and the sign is visible from the road. First it leads along the shore, but very soon, path takes you upper and upper. Most spectacular view during the trip you can see after you pass alley and get to the ridge. From that point there is an amazing view at Djupetjønn lake. Walking a narrow path you come to the last stage of this trip and several minutes later you put your step on the summit.
Way to the Heddersfjell, is more challenging. There is an old path partly invisible. Going toward that mountain you need to cross low vegetation until you get to the more serious slope. Upper part of Heddersfjell looks similar to Gaustatoppen and is covered by stones. It could be difficult to go there in less favorable weather conditions. Getting the summit is worth the effort. Scenic views are available in all directions.
